Per la prima volta in Brasile sono resi pubblici i verbali di attività clandestine contro altre compagnie telefoniche: Vivo, Telefônica e Telmex (Claro e Embratel). Nelle testimonianze alle quali il nostro giornale ha avuto accesso, Giuliano Tavaroli, Fabio Ghioni e Angelo Jannone, tutti ex dirigenti di Telecom Italia, raccontano come sono entrati nelle reti informatiche degli avversari, ammettono il furto di documenti e parlano perfino di come uno di loro fu usato come esca dalla Polizia Federale per arrestare un agente della Kroll a Rio de Janeiro. Nel luglio scorso i tre sono stati accusati dal Pubblico Ministero di Milano, insieme ad altri 31 imputati, per violazione dei sistemi di informatica e per intercettazioni illegali contro varie persone in Italia e all’estero per difendere gli interessi della Telecom Italia. Oltre alle testimonianze, rese nel 2007, la polizia italiana ha sequestrato vari CD e pen-drive con gli archivi sottratti alle imprese concorrenti. Le imprese citate nel reportage come obiettivo dell’attività clandestina di Telecom Italia – Vivo, Telefônica, Telmex (Embratel e Claro) e Angra Partners – hanno dichiarato di non sapere di essere spiate e quindi non prenderanno misure in merito.
